How the funding works

The course fee is £2,882, covered by Student Finance England (SFE)

There’s nothing to pay upfront.

You only start repaying once you’re earning over £25,000 a year, and repayments are 9% of whatever you earn above that — not 9% of your whole salary.

What that looks like:

• £25,000 a year — £0 a month

• £27,000 a year — about £15 a month

• £30,000 a year — about £37 a month

• £40,000 a year — about £112 a month

Repayments start the April after you finish or leave the course, and only if you’re over the threshold. If your income drops below £25,000, repayments stop automatically. Anything still outstanding after 40 years is written off.
